Employer services

Contract staffing and contract manpower

Bring people in for a defined period without adding them to your permanent headcount. We handle sourcing and agreed employment administration for the length of the contract.

Who this service is for

  • Projects with a known start and end date
  • Organisations with headcount limits on permanent roles
  • Teams that want to assess a role before making it permanent
  • Employers who prefer a partner to manage contract workforce administration

The problem it solves

Some work needs extra people for months, not years. Adding permanent staff for a fixed-term need creates cost and commitments that outlast the work. Contract staffing lets you scale for the contract period, with a partner managing agreed administration such as attendance inputs and payroll processing.

  • Handling extensions, early releases and replacements
  • A single point of contact for queries during the contract

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between contract staffing and manpower supply?

The two overlap. Contract staffing is defined by a fixed engagement period and contract terms for each worker. Manpower supply focuses on providing workers for ongoing site operations, and can be arranged on contract or other terms.

Who is responsible for statutory compliance for contract workers?

For workers on our payroll, Trending Jobs handles wage payments and statutory contributions such as PF and ESI, as set out in the service agreement. The principal employer also has duties under Indian labour law, so we recommend confirming your obligations with your legal or compliance adviser.

Can contract workers become permanent employees?

Yes, subject to the terms of the agreement. Your point of contact explains the conversion terms before you decide.

What is the minimum contract duration?

Duration is flexible and agreed with you up front, from short projects to long-term engagements.
